This assessment is meant to measure the ability of students to be able to identify the rules in a new number system they haven’t seen before. Students will need to determine the rules for how a number system works given the beginning of its sequence (Part A) or part of the middle of a sequence (Part B). After finding the rules, students will verify that their rules work by completing some conversion exercise to and from the Hindu-Arabic System.
