Odd and Even Factors

A factor, also called a divisor, of a natural number is a number that divides the number without any remainder. For example, the factors of 8 are 1, 2, 4, and 8, because when 8 is divided by either of these numbers, there is no remainder. In this assessment, students investigate positive factors of natural numbers, exploring patterns in the number of factors and the number of odd vs. the number of even factors.
