Leo's Shapes

In this assessment, students investigate patterns between the number of Vertices (V), the number of Sides (S), and the number of Regions (R) in two-dimensional figures: simple and crossed polygons. Then, after discovering the pattern, students select their 3D solid figure and use their drawings to investigate patterns between the number of Vertices (V), the number of Edges (E), and the number of Faces (F) in these three-dimensional solid figures, including the Platonic solids.

Thank you so much for this impressive work! I would like to know how much time will you allow students to work on this? In other words, do they have to complete this in class or they can take as much time as they need? Thank you!
