Bridge to Terabithia- Character Perspective Diary Writing

In this assessment, students will explore Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson through the eyes of a secondary character. Using diary writing conventions, they will write 3–4 diary entries from the perspective of Leslie Burke, Janice Avery or Miss Edmunds, showing how they experience and interpret events in the novel. After writing, students will select and then read aloud an excerpt for an audience of their peers.
